Terms of Use

Last updated

By using RecordingToText you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

RecordingToText converts speech in audio and video recordings to text using automated speech recognition. The free plan has daily limits shown in the tool; Premium plans have the limits shown on the pricing page. We may change limits or features, and we'll show current limits in the product.

2. Accuracy

Transcripts are produced by AI and can contain errors, including wrong words, names, numbers and speaker labels. They are not certified or verbatim transcripts and are not suitable on their own as legal, medical or court records. You are responsible for checking a transcript before relying on it.

3. Your content and consent to record

4. Fair use

Don't try to get around limits (for example with scripts, many accounts, VPN rotation or automated requests), resell the free tool, or interfere with the service. We may block traffic that looks automated or abusive.

5. Premium, billing and cancellation

Premium is a subscription billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment provider and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep Premium until the end of the paid period. Unused hours don't roll over. Refunds are handled as described on the pricing page and as required by law.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Contact
